How long does it take to install?
The job will take anywhere from 1 to 4 days. It depends on the details of your specific job.

When can I walk on my new floor?
After installation is complete, there shall be no foot traffic or foreign objects on the coated floor for 2 days.

How long before I can drive on it?
No vehicle traffic for 7 days. If polyaspartic/polyurea fast cure is applied at 77 degrees or higher no foot, vehicle or foreign objects for 24 hrs. If below 77 degrees, then its 48 hrs.

I have an old epoxy coating on my floor now can you remove it?
Yes, we use state of the art diamond grinding equipment with special vacuums that contain 99% of the dust. That will remove the old coating and the floor will be ready for the new coating to be installed.

How does the sun affect my floor?
All epoxies will fade and turn yellow that’s why we use epoxy only as a primer or a build coat. We only use aliphatic polyurethane with UVR pigmented or clear or polyaspartic/polyurea with UVR as a topcoat that will not fade or turn yellow.

How do you prep the floor?
We diamond grind every floor new or old. We would never use a power washer in your garage that could damage garage cabinets, base boards and walls. The diamond grinding machine is attached to a vacuum that collects 99% of the dust. Prep is the single most important part of the whole process.

My floor is brand new; do you still need to prep the floor?
Yes, whether the floor is new or old it still needs to be diamond ground to open up the pores, so the epoxy primer will bond to the concrete.

Why not the do it yourself products?
Over the years we have seen it time and time again these floors fail and do not last. Then it’s an extra charge to have me remove those old coatings. Your new floor is only as good as what it’s going over.

How do I clean my new floor?
1. Sweep or blow out dust and loose debris.
2. Wipe up oil or grease spots with a paper towel.
3. Use orange clean or non-filming detergent as per instructions on container.
4. Use mop with a ringer mechanism to mop floor.
5. Rinse floor thoroughly.
6. Tough stains or spot cleaning use mild solvent such as paint thinner or mineral spirits.
